Jordi Cantal

I am a firefighter by profession.

I was born in 1971 in Santa Coloma de Farners, a town 20 km south of Girona.

In 2008 I started working as a cycling guide for one of the pioneering companies in Girona, Bikecat.

2010 I started organizing track tours with my great friend Michael Barry (Ex Pro Cycling) when no one was talking about Gravel.

2015 I designed and directed the circular, trans-border endurance race “The Pirinexus Challenge 360”. A gravel test of 350 km that goes around the province of Girona.

Since 2017 I design and direct the Gravel events of the Sea Otter Europe festival.

In 2019 I founded the Girona Gravel Cycling Club.
The Gravet Series, La Gravel Bescanonina, … are also my fault 😉
